Playbooks (7)

  1. Register the tool with vendor, version, category and the development phase it supports.
  2. Determine Tool Impact: TI1 when a tool malfunction cannot introduce or fail to detect an error in a safety-related work product, otherwise TI2.
  3. Determine Tool error Detection: TD1 high, TD2 medium, TD3 low confidence that a malfunction is prevented or detected.
  4. TCL is derived automatically: TI1 → TCL1; TI2 with TD1 → TCL1, TD2 → TCL2, TD3 → TCL3.
  5. Record the rationale and route the classification for review and approval.
